General Description:
Visit Benin Republic and discover Ouidah, the cradle of Vodun Culture and one of Beni’s most historic coastal cities. This 1-day guided tour takes you through Ouidah’s most emblematic sites, combining culture, spirituality and history.

08:30 AM – Departure from Cotonou pickup location.
09:30 AM– Arrival at Temple of Pythons (spiritual symbol of Ouidah)
10:00 AM– Visit Ouidah History Museum (Fort São João Baptista de Ajudá)**
11:30 AM – Stop at Place Chacha, the former slave market
12:00 PM– Lunch break at a restaurant (Beninese cuisine)
1:30 PM – Walk along the Route des Esclaves (Slave Route)
2:30 PM – Visit the Porte du Non-Retour (Door of No Return) on the beach
3:30 PM – Discovery of the Sacred Forest of Kpassè
4:30 PM– Completion of Tour
5:30PM Drop off at hotel, or border location
